We’re a bunch of coffee enthusiasts on a mission to introduce the incredible coffee roasters and their products from Slovakia and Czechia to the rest of Europe. With over 120 roasteries in Slovakia and even more in Czechia, we’re here to give you a taste of the best.
Our goal is simple: we want to share the unique and delicious coffee from our homeland while supporting small businesses along the way. We’re absolutely blown away by the diverse flavors and high quality, and we’re eager to pass on our excitement.
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much
Gabriel is in gastro industry for 15 years. His journey involves being a runner, waiter, bartender or manager of a restaurant, edning up with speciality coffee as a barista. He is active as a barista 4th year now. He loves to experiment and develop new recipes to prepare a „modern espresso“ or Pour over V60. He is fascinated by coffee and the best thing is that is necessary adapt every recipe individually to get maximum from each bean…
Viktor started his coffee journey in 2015. Since his first part-time job as a waiter, he gradually got to work with speciality coffee, which he is intensely devoted to for five years now. In his work, he is precise in the details and is always pleased when he finds the right recipe, because each coffee requires an individual approach in order to reveal its full potential. He likes to travel around European cities and get to know local cafes/roasteries, but he never misses a botanical garden either… He likes juicy and fruity filter coffees the most, but he also doesn’t disdain a well balanced espresso or a delicious flat white. He is always pleased when he can make his customers‘ day better with good cup of coffee and he can’t imagine what he would do without his cupping spoon.
Mirec began his journey through the world of gastronomy in 2009 when he joined the Hotel Academy and immediately knew that he wanted to experience everything that this world had to offer. Starting as a waiter and bartender, he worked his way up to the position of bar manager. Later on, he decided to take a break from working in gastronomy and after a few years he returned to the role of barista at Michelle Coffee & Bakery in beautiful Zvolen. Thanks to this, he got back into the world of selected coffee, in which he feels like a fish in water. Mirec likes to live life to the fullest. He loves the full taste of fruity doppio, but he does not disdain high-quality Aeropress either. In his spare time, he devotes himself to Thai boxing, discovering new tastes and experiences, ideally with his beloved girlfriend and dog Max.
Peter is an IT manager by profession, he has been in this segment for almost 20 years, but he discovered his true love in coffee. Along with his business trips, he looks for interesting places, specialty coffees and unique cafes. He enthusiastically attends barista training, workshops and constantly strengthens his love for coffee. He loves fruity espressos, but he’s falling more and more for V60s. Wherever he appears, he looks for good mood and new friends.
